Aaaaahhhh! Fall is here. The fresh aromas Pumpkin Coffee and Fall Leaves are upon us. October is gearing up to be a fun filled month. Railroad Days is this coming Saturday and Sunday from 10a to 5p. We hope you get a chance to come DownTown.
We plan for a spooky night reading of Tell-Tale Heartnext Friday night with the lights down low – October 9th. Later in the month, you can decorate a pumpkin and enter it in our contest for prizes. There are some really great new books hitting the shelves. Jeannette Walls, Dan
Brown, Mitch Albom, Anita Diamant, Robert Hicks, Jeff Kinney and many other authors with new books just released. Please let us know if we can reserve any copies for you.

5 Year Bash
Thank you to everyone that helped us celebrate our 5 year celebration and a hearfelt understanding to those that could not attend. Great customers turned friends, we love you all. The deepest thanks for supporting your local Indie Book Store!

Writing Groups
Book Crossing is thrilled to host 5 writer meetings each month. The “Day Writers” like to meet here on Fridays at 3pm. The “Night Writers” meet here on the 1st Monday of each month, 7pm. The list of talented writers in our area continues to grow. Anyone interested in attending a session can just come to one of the scheduled days. The groups will always maintain as an open group and you can join anytime.

New Candles – Local
We are excited to introduce a new line of Candles to our store. Linganore Candles of New Market are now on our shelves. I like the fact they are made locally here in Maryland. I want to support other local businesses as much as possible. The candles burn well and the scents are “Bursting with Aroma”.
